油畫 Oil Painting

近日遷居到某歷史悠久的公寓，上手業主是名獨居老人，其家人在她離世後便急急放售了。

單位裝修很古雅，因此不打算作大改動；只是廳中懸掛了一幅油畫，畫中人相信是老婦本人，一臉不悅的樣子，看起來令人很不舒服。原本想丟掉，但還是留下了，只是用布遮着。

某天朋友到訪，不小心把畫撞跌了。正要重新掛上時，我才發現那不是油畫，原來是塊透明玻璃，那麼我透過玻璃看到的究竟是？…

Recently I moved into an old apartment.  Its previous owner was an old widow who lived alone. Her family sold the apartment immediately after she passed away.

I really liked the quaint decoration of the apartment, and therefore had no intention to furnish it.  However, there was an oil painting hung in the middle of the living room. l thought that it should be the portrait of the deceased woman.  She looked unhappy and I felt quite uneasy about it..  Thus I covered it with a cloth before I plucked up the courage to dispose it.

One day, my friend visited me and accidentally hit the picture.  It fell onto the ground. I picked it up and wanted to restore it to the original place.  At that time, I came to realize that it was not a painting, but just a transparent glass instead.  So, what was the thing I saw through the glass?...
